Eating mushrooms gives us lots of health benefits. You can easily grow them at home with a kit and the kids love to see them grow. All you need is a dark cupboard and a spray bottle. The kit includes instructions and the growing media which contains the mushroom spores. Typically you get two or three flushes of mushrooms from one kit. Grow your own yummy mushrooms at home… they are so easy! We currently have these four varieties in stock:

Ulmarius Oyster (Pleurotus Ostreatus)
Ulmarius Oysters grow much like other Oyster mushrooms. They are a favourite cultivated strain considered to have a superior taste to other oyster mushrooms sp.

Tan Oyster (Pleurotus Ostreatus)
This is our best yielding and easiest mushroom to grow! Oyster mushrooms are frequently used in Japanese, Korean and Chinese cookery as a delicacy; commonly served on its own, in soups, stuffed, or in stir-fry. Mild with a slight anise scent. The oyster mushroom is best when picked young.
